1st December 2017 ~ Reception

This week we have made 3D robots using recycled tubes and boxes.  We have been able to name the 3D shapes we have used such as cube, cylinder and cuboid.

24th November 2017 ~ Reception

This week we have been looking at robots and have made our own 2D robots using lolly sticks, tin foil and card.  We have thought about what job our robot can do and even given them names.

Next week we are going to use all the recycled materials brought in to make our own 3D robot!

20th October 2017 ~ Reception

Our theme this week has been hedgehogs.  The children have made their own hedgehogs using saltdough which they loved.  They rolled the saltdough into a ball and then squeezed and pulled one end to make its nose, added spaghetti for its spines and poked holes for its eyes.  We now have a classroom…

Reception go to Windmill Animal Farm
