Before and After School Club

At Kirkham and Wesham Primary School, we are delighted to offer a safe, welcoming and enjoyable Before and After School Club to support our families. Our club provides a relaxed and nurturing environment where children can play, socialise, complete homework, take part in creative activities and enjoy time with their friends before and after the school day.

Our experienced staff provide high-quality care, ensuring children feel happy, safe and well supported throughout each session.

Opening Times and Charges

Before School Club

7:45am – 8:45am

£3.50 per child, per session

Children enjoy a calm and positive start to the school day before joining their class ready to learn.

After School Club

3:15pm – 5:45pm

£7.50 per child, per session

Children can take part in a range of indoor and outdoor activities, games, crafts, reading and quiet activities in a relaxed environment after the school day.

A light snack, such as toast or fruit, together with a drink, is provided and included within the session cost.

We are committed to keeping the cost of our Before and After School Club as affordable as possible whilst continuing to provide high-quality childcare in a safe and welcoming environment.

Our charges are reviewed annually and may be amended from time to time to reflect increases in staffing, food, resources and other operating costs. Parents and carers will always be given reasonable notice of any changes to session charges.

Please note that a late collection charge will apply if children are collected after 5:45pm. Further information can be found in our Uncollected Children Policy, available on the Policies page of our website.

Booking a Place

Places must be booked through ParentPay at least 24 hours in advance.

Our Before and After School Club is extremely popular and places are limited. To avoid disappointment, we encourage parents and carers to book early, as places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Activities

Children enjoy a wide variety of activities designed to promote creativity, wellbeing and enjoyment, including:

  • Arts and crafts
  • Board games and puzzles
  • Construction activities
  • Reading and quiet areas
  • Outdoor play
  • Team games
  • Homework and reading opportunities
  • Seasonal and themed activities

Our aim is to provide a fun, engaging and relaxing environment where every child feels valued and enjoys spending time before and after school.

Meet Our Before and After School Club Team

Mrs Adams

Mrs Adams has over 21 years' experience working with children and has a wealth of knowledge in supporting children's wellbeing and development. She holds a range of qualifications, including safeguarding and paediatric first aid, and is committed to ensuring every child feels safe, happy and welcomed into the club.

Mrs Daniels

Mrs Daniels has been a Teaching Assistant at Kirkham and Wesham Primary School since 2012 and is known for her warm, caring and supportive approach with every child she works with. She enjoys building positive relationships with children and creating a calm, friendly environment where they can relax, play and thrive.
