Assessment Dates

Please see below for the dates of the primary assessments.

  • Reception Baseline Assessment (Reception) – Completed within the first six weeks of the Autumn Term.
  • Optional Key Stage 1 Tests (Year 2) – Recommended administration period during May 2027.
  • Phonics Screening Check (Year 1) and Year 2 Re-checks – Administered during the week beginning Monday 14 June 2027.
  • Multiplication Tables Check (Year 4) – Administered within the two-week period beginning Monday 7 June 2027.
  • Key Stage 2 SATs (Year 6) – Monday 10 May to Thursday 13 May 2027.

Please ensure that your child is in school during these assessment periods.

Please note we are unable to authorise holidays in term time. Fines may be issued by the Local Authority if holidays are taken term time.
