Author Visit - Dan Worsley

The children thoroughly enjoyed a visit from the children's author Dan Worsley today who talked to them all about being an author and shared a story with them. He also emphasised the importance of not being afraid to come out of your comfort zone or make mistakes and how this helped him to become more resilient and improve as an author. ‘Resilience’ is of course one of our school values which we have been promoting this year — so it fitted in perfectly!

Dan signed books for anyone who had brought in money to buy one and we have also bought some for school so all children can have the opportunity to read them.
