Our Ethos

• Our school provides a warm, caring, nurturing environment where children feel part of our school family and where their well-being is a priority.
• Our school promotes personal and social development. All children are encouraged to take part in a wide variety of activities and experiences in addition to those promoted within the classroom. We have a wide range of after school activities designed to facilitate this and children are actively encouraged to join in. We aim to develop and inspire our children with self belief and  equip them with skills, knowledge and experiences to enable them to thrive in this ever changing world.
• We have forged strong links with the community working with a range of partners to ensure that the best opportunities for our children are embraced.
• We have a culture of high expectations and encourage our children to be the best they can be.

Our Values

At KWPS we have a core set of values which were agreed by the School Council following discussions with their peers, staff and Governors. We strive to embody these values in all we do.

The values are promoted with our children. Each half-term we focus on one of our school values and choose a weekly star from each class who has exemplified our values. These are highly sought after.
