20th April 2018
Although the weather was poor on Tuesday for our trip to Park View in Lytham, we did have a wonderful time.
When we arrived we went to the eco pod and had our milk and fruit with a safety talk. Then we walked through the wood to the story circle, where we moved the logs and searched for some minibeasts. We had great fun trying to catch the wriggly worms and fast moving centipedes!
After that, we went to the kitchen garden and had a dig in the empty vegetable beds searching for more minibeasts. While we were digging, we went in groups to observe the bees in their hive (it had an observation window and closed circuit camera installed for viewing).
Please see the photos we took in the photo section of the website.
